Rams Head Live in Baltimore

October 21, 2022

My friends and I have been going to The Front Bottoms concerts for 9 years or so. And while every concert has been a fantastic time, one sticks out in particular. I’m sure if your in the Philadelphia area you are very familiar with the term “Red October”. Well this was the case for this concert in October, the Phillies were in a playoff run known as “Red October”. The vibes were immaculate for all 8 of us that went down to Baltimore for the trip. When we arrived to our AirBnb on Friday, we dropped our stuff off and headed to the closest bar near the concert venue so we could catch some of game 3 of the NLCS before heading into the show. The Phillies were on fire! And while it was a close game, they always had it on lock. We leave the bar to head to the venue feeling confident in the Phil’s win. When we get in and get situated the viber were high. Other Phillies fans were in the venue, wild. Then the show started. They played almost everyone of my favorite songs. From Rhode Island, to Far Drive, to Hello World and Vacation Town. It was fantastic, and this is where it gets even better. Brian Sella, the frontman, was throwing things into the audience. I was lucky enough to grab one. I put it in my pocket and forgot about it till the end of the night. 4 am or so, after finally getting back to room, i reach in my pocket and realize i caught something! I completely forgot! I pull it out and it’s a signed hotdog chew toy and a setlist from the concert that night. There was a fascination with glizzies at the time for some reason. I was blown away. What a way to cap off a fantastic night. And in the morning, I went and got a tattoo to commemorate this amazing experience. This way i’ll never forget one of the best weekend of my life. Again, I recommend going to a Front Bottoms show. You won’t regret it.
