Wish it was full albums but, I can’t complain. The last EP they dropped was Theresa. It came out in 2022. Which also means they are due some new music drops! Theresa has five songs on the record and it displays a wide range of musical talent. It starts of with one of my favorite songs ever, More Than it Hurts You. It’s a perfect opener that starts of slow and picks up until the end of the song. Starting off the EP strong. Next is “The Bongo Song”. Yes that’s right. It’s more of an upbeat catchy song. Not my favorite but one I don’t skip. Then at the crux of Theresa is my favorite song on the EP, “Hello World”. It is a powerful listen. The lyrics really speak to you. A must listen to. Then there is “Supply of Power”, another one that has an energetic feel to it. Again, not a skip, an important listen. And finally there is “The Winds”. A fitting song to cap of a fantastic EP. A song that tells an emotional story. But I can’t speak enough about how good “Hello World” is.

Track List

More Than it Hurts You

The Bongo Song

Hello World

The Supply of Power

The Winds

Reviews

Z. Younk

I have no problem saying after only one listen this is a total return to form for the band. I haven’t really felt the last 3 LPs were in the same spirit as their prior work and the songwriting got more and more stale; but somehow this EP feels very reinvigorated and current.

Thunderbolt

I enjoy the front bottoms a lot and I really enjoyed this new ep from them. It sounded closer to their older albums compared to the pop influenced albums like in sickness and in flames. Just some quick thoughts Maybe I’ll update with more later

2020hills

I say this on every post I see of people saying something the band makes is slept on or under rated. The front bottoms are a good band that makes good music.
